Delete your Hombrio account

This page explains how to delete your Hombrio account and the data linked to it, what is deleted, what is kept and how long it takes.

In the app, right away

  1. Open Hombrio and sign in to your account.
  2. Tap your avatar and go to Privacy.
  3. Tap Delete account and data and confirm with your password.

Your account and data leave the server right away, and the app clears what was stored on the device.

Without access to the app

Write to privacidade@hombrio.com from your account email, with the subject "Delete account". To protect you, we only delete at the request of the account email, or after confirming the request through it. We delete within 5 business days and reply to confirm.

If you use it without an account

Your logs stay only on your device and we have no copy. To delete them, uninstall the app or, in the browser, clear Hombrio's site data in the browser settings.

What is deleted

  • Your account: nickname, email, protected password, date of birth and preferences.
  • All logs stored on the server: treatment, injections or doses, check-ins, protein, workouts, measurements, questions, completed lessons, favorites and the history of your reports.
  • Your consents, open sessions and reminders.
  • Messages you sent to the team and the payment history we keep.
  • Your Hombrio+ subscription, if any: it is cancelled in Stripe and nothing else is charged.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Backups: kept on the same server, in Germany, and deleted within 30 days. They exist only to restore the service after a failure; if a backup has to be used within that time, your account is deleted again before the service comes back.
  • Deletion receipt: a code that does not lead to your name or email, the dates of the request and of the deletion and the final state of your consents. It exists only to prove the deletion happened.
  • Payments: Stripe keeps the records of charges already made, under its own privacy policy.
  • Anonymous usage: usage counts, if you had turned them on, are not linked to your account, so they cannot be deleted with it.

Timeframes

  • In the app: right away.
  • By email: within 5 business days.
  • Backups: within 30 days.
